As part of the implementation of the project “From Standards to Reality: Advocating for the Right of Access to Environmental Justice,” the Sada Association for Children with Autism in El Jadida organized a capacity-building workshop on the right of access to environmental justice and the effective use of available legal and institutional mechanisms.

The workshop aimed to strengthen participants’ understanding of environmental justice, identify the barriers preventing citizens from accessing environmental justice at the local and regional levels, and build advocacy skills to promote and defend the right to a healthy and sustainable environment.

This activity was carried out within the framework of the “Hiwar” project, implemented by Humanity & Inclusion (HI), Avocats Sans Frontières (ASF), and Amane, with financial support from the European Union, to strengthen the capacities of Moroccan civil society organizations in the fields of human rights and environmental justice.
