Our History
Key milestones in our journey
From idea to preparatory committee
Following the study day organized by Association Al Ofoq in Zemamra on 17/04/2002 and the first forum of associations in 2004, the idea of a Doukkala network emerged and a preparatory committee was formed to mature the project.
Founding General Assembly
On 04/08/2006 the founding general assembly was held, officially creating the Doukkala NGO Network, electing a board of 12 member associations and establishing a community council and advisory body.
Renewal and expansion
On 4 August 2015 the executive board was renewed and the network grew to 27 associations represented by 29 members and a strengthened community council.
Specialized poles and volunteer corps
At the general assembly of 15 April 2023 the central board was renewed, membership expanded to 32 associations (37 members), and thematic poles and a volunteer unit were created within the network.
