The city of Zemamra hosted the opening of a capacity-building workshop dedicated to the right of access to environmental justice, bringing together civil society organizations, community representatives, and stakeholders interested in environmental governance.

The workshop aims to strengthen participants' understanding of the legal framework governing environmental justice, national and international protection mechanisms, and practical advocacy tools for monitoring environmental violations and promoting access to justice.

This activity is part of the project “From Standards to Effective Implementation: Advocating for the Right to Environmental Justice in the Provinces of Sidi Bennour and El Jadida,” implemented by the Doukkala Non-Governmental Associations Network (RADNG) and its partners in collaboration with Lawyers Without Borders (ASF) under the DIALOGUE Strategic Support Programme for Civil Society in Morocco, with the objective of empowering civil society and promoting environmental rights and good environmental governance.
