The Parents' Association of the Central School in Zemamra organized a multi-stakeholder forum bringing together representatives of educational institutions, civil society organizations, and environmental stakeholders to highlight the role of schools in promoting environmental education and strengthening awareness of environmental justice and children's rights.

The discussions addressed the barriers preventing citizens from accessing environmental justice at both local and regional levels and emphasized the importance of environmental education in fostering responsible citizenship. Participants also explored advocacy tools and participatory mechanisms for defending the right to a healthy environment and protecting children's rights.

This activity was implemented within the “Hiwar” project, led by Humanity & Inclusion (HI), Avocats Sans Frontières (ASF), and Amane, with funding from the European Union, to strengthen Moroccan civil society's capacity to promote human rights, environmental justice, and sustainable development.
