As part of the project “From Standards to Effectiveness: Advocacy for Access to Environmental Justice”, the Doukkala Non-Governmental Associations Network (RADNG) organized a capacity-building meeting on June 14, 2026, in El Jadida, in partnership with ASF – Lawyers Without Borders, under the theme “The Right of Access to Environmental Justice and the Use of Existing Mechanisms.”

This activity was part of efforts to strengthen the capacities of civil society actors in environmental justice and promote environmental rights. It provided participants with an overview of the legal framework as well as available complaint, reporting, and advocacy mechanisms.

The session included presentations and interactive discussions on environmental justice concepts, the role of civil society, and practical tools for environmental protection. It also served as a platform for experience sharing and improved understanding of legal and institutional instruments.

This initiative contributed to fostering a stronger culture of environmental justice and encouraging civil society engagement in translating legal standards into effective implementation.
