As part of the project “From Standards to Effectiveness: Advocacy for Access to Environmental Justice,” the Echo Children with Autism Association, a member of the RADNG coalition, organized a capacity-building meeting on June 13, 2026, in El Jadida, in partnership with ASF – Lawyers Without Borders, under the theme “The Right of Access to Environmental Justice and the Use of Existing Mechanisms.”
The meeting was organized to strengthen the capacities of civil society actors and citizens interested in environmental issues by improving their understanding of environmental justice principles and the legal and institutional mechanisms available for environmental protection.
The activity included presentations and interactive discussions on environmental rights, existing complaint and legal redress mechanisms, advocacy tools, and citizen participation in environmental governance. It also provided an opportunity for participants to exchange experiences and share good practices related to environmental protection and access to justice.
This initiative contributed to increasing awareness and knowledge of environmental justice issues while encouraging greater civic engagement in the protection of environmental rights and the promotion of sustainable development.
